ICO - International Consulting Office is an engineering consulting
group that brings together a collection of worldwide leading engineers
and offices for consulting services in geotechnics.
ICO draws its expertise from the combination of highly educated
geotechnical engineers from leading international universities, such as Cambridge
(UK), Berkeley (USA), and the Technion (Israel). ICO’s staff have
extensive experience on large scale projects and foster strong
relations to academia and industry.
ICO handles and advises on solutions
for a diverse range of problems associated with civil
engineering projects including:
- Foundation systems, both onshore and offshore
- Slope stability and design
- Dams and embankments
- Tunneling
- Pipelines
- Seismic hazard analysis
- Monitoring bridges and infrastructures using fiber optics
- Wellbore stability and hydraulic fracturing analysis

The strength of ICO is its ability to cost-effectively utilize the
expertise of international leaders. ICO’s staff take advantage of recent year’s advances in IT
which allow them to be located throughout the world yet still pool
their respective resources to perform high-quality engineering consulting services
efficiently as though they were all located in one office.
As of 2012, ICO has two offices, one in Israel and the other in Japan.
